Here at Sundance, we are fortunate to work with many of the finest artisans across the USA and around the world. But sometimes it takes a lucky moment of happenstance to find a one-of-a-kind artistic treasure.

For our Fall Jewelry collection, we have specially curated an exclusively-online collection of beautiful jewelry pieces by a number of our Sundance artisans, one of which is Jes MaHarry. Jes, a long-standing Sundance artisan has been creating beautifully exquisite handmade pieces for Sundance for over 10 years. Jes's jewelry is filled with inspiring quotes - made with the true essence of peace and love.

One of her creations for our online-only collection is the Lionesse Necklace. A protective lionesse charm embodies courage and strength. Etched with a third eye symbol to bestow wisdom upon its wearer. Hear more from Jes about the meaning behind this beautiful 14kt gold piece by watching the video below:

Sundance Artisan, Polly Hart's jewelry has a modern edge but contains an aesthetic that clearly values the past. Her artistic roots go back at least as far as her great-grandfather, a furniture maker whose creativity has permeated several generations.

Joyful. Spiritual. Unique. Empowering. These are words that describe both the designer and her jewelry. Sundance Artisan Melissa Joy Manning's education in art history, design, sculpture and silver-smithing make her uniquely suited to her work as a jewelry creator.

Sundance artisan Ruth Tomlinson is renowned for meticulously handcrafted, luxury fine jewelry with an ethereal, otherworldly appeal - eclectic, intricate, rare and precious. Ruth employs inventive techniques to ensure that originality prevails in each new collection.

Her newest pieces of jewelry evoke natural wonders. Her Revelry Earrings and Revelry Ring contain trios of twinkling jewels inspired by stories of forgotten underwater worlds, enchanting seascapes, abundant coral gardens and hidden nautical treasures. Crystal clear aquamarines are nestled among clusters of golden granules and sparkling white diamonds, like reflections of the summer sea gently frothing with waves catching rays of sunlight.

Each jewel is made entirely by hand in her central London studio where her small team is based. Each gemstone is individually sourced and selected for its own unique character. The collections take on a personal approach and demonstrate sensitivity to the value and history of gemstones that often contain a secret treasure or story.

“To me, working with such precious materials is a privilege. Each piece of jewelry should be unique, like each of us, and this is how I like the jewelry to make people feel," Ruth says about being a jeweler, "I hope to evoke a sense of wonder around the work; a modern British classic of the future, handcrafted and ready to be filled with its own story – throughout our lifetime and for generations to come.”

Shop our Ruth Tomlinson collection here and enjoy a video below about her unique jewelry and one couple's choice to depart from the norm for their engagement jewelry.

Our photo crew has been fortunate enough to shoot Sundance models in many inspiring locations over the years. But our first-ever visit to Guatemala for the Spring Catalog was truly special. Here in the delightful mountain town of Antigua, we were treated to the local tradition of colorfully decorated alfombras.
