Buddy, a yellow lab, enjoying his view of the snow

Congratulations to Buddy, our Sundance Dog of December!

We received Buddy’s photos and read his story, and we were immediately drawn to his playful, adventurous spirit. Here is the heartwarming story we would like to share from Buddy’s family:

Buddy is 13 and 1/2 years old now. Buddy loves to play in the snow. All we have to say is "shovel", and he is at the door, whining and barking, ready to go.
He especially loves when we get out the snow blower. He thinks it is a big game; he barks incessantly and tries to jump up and catch the snow in his mouth...in the last few years, even though he cannot jump like he used to, he still loves "shovel”.

Here is a photo of Buddy now

At Sundance, we love the holidays. The spirit of giving that surrounds us; the sense of awe and wonder that embraces us. We cherish the time with friends and loved ones. There is nothing quite like the magic of this season.

While we prepare for the holidays, we enjoy getting all of our loved ones involved…including our four-legged friends. This month, we received some photos of dogs who are ready to celebrate:

Penny

Penny, a 2.5 year-old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, is all dressed up and ready to celebrate

Catfish

Catfish, looking great in reindeer ears, is certainly ready to be a holiday helper

Ozzie

Ozzie, a fun loving Border Collie, is ready to ring in the new year

This month, we would like you to meet one of our festive friends, as well:

Tommy (Ronda, Creative Services)

Tommy helps decorate the tree every year

All the holiday festivities can be tiring

Tommy, a deaf boxer, came to Ronda as a five-year-old rescue, and he immediately found his place as a member of the family. He is now a playful dog that loves to visit the Sundance studio and sleep under the computer table. He loves Christmas and lounging under the Christmas tree.
