2015 Sundance Film Festival...An Annual Celebration
Celebrating the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah |
Today marks the opening of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. The town buzzes with incredible talent, mostly undiscovered. This year, the Sundance Film Festival will run from January 22 – February 1.
At Sundance Catalog, as an official provider, we support the artistic vision of the Sundance Film Festival. We are honored to take part in this celebration which nurtures and furthers the creative spirit. We are proud to share our roots through founder Robert Redford, as he continues to be a champion for new voices in American film. These aspiring filmmakers possess an artistic fire which cannot be dampened and strive for an opportunity to shine.
Robert Redford founded the Institute in 1981. That year, ten emerging filmmakers came together at the Sundance Resort where they worked with leading writers, directors, and actors to develop original projects. The event has since grown to Park City, and while it is now larger than ever, it continues to provide storytellers and audiences a chance to come together, united in artistic appreciation.
For one of our recent catalogs, Robert Redford penned the words, “Art I believe is an agent for change. It is an expressive celebration of life in its many forms and colors. Join me if you will in this appreciation.” Art spans many avenues, including but most certainly not limited to, acting and film to fashion and design. We are honored to share in this vision and thrilled to join the celebration.
